Meet the Doctors

Dr. Troy R. Shaw is an orthodontist in Missoula and Ronan, MT who specializes in providing quality orthodontic care to children and adults.

Dr. Shaw received his Doctorate in Dentistry from the University of Louisville School of Dental Medicine. He completed a general practice residency in Salt Lake City and received additional training in orthodontics at the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Dr. Shaw is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. He prides himself on staying educated with the latest technology and techniques in orthodontics.

Dr. Shaw lives right here in Missoula and enjoys spending time with his daughters, the outdoors, horses, being on the lake and time with family and friends. One of Dr. Shaw’s greatest influences growing up was his own neighborhood orthodontist. He believes in giving back to the community that welcomed him when he was anxious to start his career in orthodontics. In his words, “Missoula is the best place on earth to live!”

Orthodontists are dental specialists who diagnose, prevent and treat dental and facial irregularities.  They receive an additional two to three years of specialized education beyond dental school to learn the proper way to align and straighten teeth.

Dr. Shaw received his Doctorate in Dentistry from the University of Louisville School of Dental Medicine. He completed a general practice residency in Salt Lake City and received additional training in orthodontics at the State University of New York at Buffalo where he received a Master of Science degree and Proficiency in Orthodontics.

Dr. Shaw is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists. He prides himself on staying educated with the latest technology and techniques in orthodontics. 

Dr. Shaw enjoys spending time with his two children. One of Dr. Shaw’s greatest influences growing up was his own neighborhood orthodontist. He believes in giving back to the community and loves Missoula.
